After a decade in a comfy tech career, I left to pursue my then-dream: my own financial coaching business. At the same time, I improv'ed my way around Europe and the U.S. for two years. All that exploring—of meaningful work, people, and places—couldn't help but change me from a coach into a writer.
Prior to tech, I worked in clinical trials (regulatory affairs), and commercial real estate. In all these professional experiences, I watched what worked, what didn't, and why the best people eventually left.
I now write about what I've learned about betting on yourself, big dreams, preparing for AI disruption, corporate dysfunction, and building something of your own.
Books include Dear Fellow Spender and Dear Fellow Dreamer. I write stories on Substack (sometimes humorous, always human) and share thoughts with builders/dreamers via my email list.
I'm ordinary in every way, except that I've had the audacity to believe in myself and done things with that belief. There are no fancy letters behind my name, but I've got an abundance of lessons, scars, and stories from a lot of living what the experts often only preach.
